Passes in a century In society, everyone is unquestionably dependent on the state and has become monolithic, an era of letters and numbers? It lives always resting and observing in transparent glass bell jars, which are the only limit between the system and freedom. The chief engineer of the integral space vehicle, the talented and loyal citizen d-503, speaks highly of the single state and the governor in his diary entries for the possible people in outer space, but one day, he is attracted by the charm of the revolutionary i-330, which draws his attention with its unconventional attitude, and he becomes a state traitor. It finds itself in a movement. "as part of ""us"", he realizes that he has distanced himself from nature and his own self, and as he questions himself and the ideology behind what he believes in his diary, he begins to replace ""us"" with ""i""." Inspired by orwell's 1984, one of the pioneers and the best examples of the dystopia genre, biz was written in russian in 1920, first published in english in 1924, and translated into many languages until it was published in zamyatin's own country in 1988. We present this work, which draws attention to the dangers in a society where individuality is destroyed and the awakening of consciousness from ideology, with the careful translation of furkan özkan.
