Akaki akakiyevich, the protagonist of gogol's story called the overcoat, is a dim public official who has no pleasure in life other than his job. Even though he is the subject of ridicule by his surroundings, he leads a calm and peaceful life. In the harsh winters of russia, he cannot protect himself from the cold with his shabby coat, nor can he afford a new one. When he can put his life on the line and save enough money, he is unaware of what will happen to the coat he dreams of. In the story called burun, it is about a man who wakes up on a regular day and cannot find his nose in its usual place, and earnestly pursues it.

while blending the corrupted order of bureaucracy with fantastic elements, gogol, who includes the reader in this quest, becomes the voice of the silenced mass that strives to fight poverty, exclusion and the difficulties of social life. "we present this work, written with a sharp irony and observation talent, and emphasized its importance by saying ""we all came out of gogol's coat"", by dostoyevski, with the careful translation of ugur büke."
