i will never be all the people i want to be, and i will never be able to live all the lives i want to live.

i won't be able to train myself enough to get all the skills i want.

why do i want these? I want to taste and feel all the colors, shades and varieties of possible mental and physical experiences in my life.

and i'm horribly limited.

i have a lot to live for, yet sick and sad that it's impossible to understand. Sylvia plath lived only thirty years, and these thirty years included a turbulent life and unforgettable works.

diaries, which he first published in 1963, after he put an end to his life with his own hand, censoring the bulk of his wife, ted hughes, was published in its original form many years later.
