Kırmızı Kedi Yayınları German Tableware

Product description

Thomas bernhard's "the german table" is a short but illuminating play that draws attention to a tragic relevance.

In this book, which brings together seven short plays in one curtain, set in this frame, the "paradise world" initially drawn gradually turns into a wakefulness from evils, and as the story they staged while people were satisfied and happy develops, they find themselves in a horror.

The ordinary citizens, who are brought to life by the games, never make grand speeches, but with joy, they easily express how easily the limits of democracy can be erased, and how easily the distinction between aggression, pure fascism, street gossip, and the attack with threat can be overcome.

These seven short plays offer the reader many clues to discuss a very fundamental problem of countries like germany and austria, as well as many other countries in the world that are not far from this, by drawing attention to the continuity of political mental structures and their carriers. The mentality and types displayed in these seven games exist in turkey, just as they do in all countries of the world, with their own local colors. The turkish translation of the games, based on the prototypes in germany, introduces the very recent and still relevant problems of this country, while also inviting to consider similar ones in turkey. What is pointed out in these games set in germany is valid for almost every country, as well as for turkey, with many similar examples without exaggeration.
