Kırmızı Kedi Yayınları Compulsory

Product description

Stefan zweig chose suicide with his wife in the face of the terror of war and destruction spreading all over the world. anti-war was the cornerstone of the author's humanist worldview that prioritized life. in this regard, compulsion is a complete zweig narrative: a painter named ferdinand, who fled the war in his country and took refuge in the swiss countryside with his wife, tries to resist the feeling of compulsion that forces him with the call to military service. "of course, you should be a part of the people, but if the people have lost their minds, you don't have to lose with them. you are just a number, figure, tool, sacrificial lamb for them, but for me, you are still a living human with blood and i refuse to hand you over to them." promotional text
