The "songs for children" section of the songbook is now available for the first time, featuring original illustrations alongside the songs. The music, fairy tales, and innocence embedded in lorca's poetry are so vivid that they can touch a child's heart, even after centuries have passed. These unique drawings from lorca's archives are being introduced to children for the first time, alongside the songs they've been told. All the children watch behind the frosted windows as a yellow tree turns into birds.

” 2. Book: federico garcía lorca (1989-1936), the spanish poet and playwright murdered by francoist militias during the spanish civil war, became a political figurehead of global significance due to his tragic death. He became the most talked-about poet of the century.

In the dark magnolia, in addition to the poetry translations made by our translators such as sabri altınel, bilge karasu and samih rifat from lorca, there are three short plays of the poet, which are published in turkish for the first time, a short film script, examples from his famous duende conference and patterns. In the "lorca's echo" section, you'll discover a curated selection of poems from poets around the globe, all paying homage to lorca. No one understood the scent of the dark magnolia in your belly.
