Book: a staircase leading underground... whispering waters... a curiosity filled with numbers and a child who loves asking questions more than giving answers... arke is the curious child of an archaeologist family. Together with his cousin arel, who loves numbers more than anything, and the talking little robot loji, he embarks on an adventurous exploration in the underground cistern. When they descend into the cistern of the submerged together, this dark and mysterious structure turns out to be more than just a water reservoir. The rhythm of the drops shifts, numbers transform into a code, and the date begins to speak in silence.

but can everything be calculated? Are some secrets only whispered to those who are curious? Demet ekmekçioğlu's arke and arel in the yerebatan cistern is a discovery story that turns historical places into playgrounds, blends mathematics and science with adventure, and both makes the reader laugh and think. This book doesn't offer children ready-made answers

it teaches them to look, listen, and have the courage to ask the right question. 2nd book: toprak had only one dream: to become an archaeologist! But it wasn't enough to know how to dig

first, he had to find the right place to dig. In his adventure that extends from the top of the neighborhood to the school garden, from film sets to the seashore, toprak sometimes came across a potato field, sometimes to sa-h-t-e statues, and sometimes to "ancient signs" that could be mistaken for seagull footprints.

but no failure has fazed it.

until one day he stumbles upon a truly real find. "little dig, big discovery" blends humor, engaging storytelling, and real-world archeology concepts to spark curiosity, a passion for exploration, and scientific thinking in children. Toprak's story reminds every child of the curiosity that opens the door to science. The value of a masterpiece isn't in the pocket of the person who finds it

it's preserved in a museum, where everyone can see it! *** inspired by a movie watched with his family, toprak decides to be an archaeologist. The excavation tools are ready, his hat is on his head.

there is only one thing missing: a place to dig! But when toprak's dream of mounds and potato fields, and ancient city ruins turning into movie sets, doesn't quite pan out, his enthusiasm takes a bit of a hit. "thinking about whether you absolutely need to find a dig site to become a real archaeologist, you suddenly come across a construction machine and the soil it's kicking up." The soil will teach him what it means to discover at a moment he never expected

he will realize that archaeology is not just about finding, but also about preserving and sharing. Promotional text 3. book: the story of the stone is also the story of humanity.

it rolled off the rock it was attached to and became a wheel.

it did not stop, it was rolled, used in grinding wheat. When the time came, he got involved in children's games, when the time came, he was chipped and art was made.

there were those who put a stone on a stone, and there were those who did not leave a stone on a stone.
