The common european framework of reference for languages was used as the basis for the preparation of this book set. Accordingly, five textbooks were prepared, namely a1-a2 (basic level), b1-b2 (intermediate level) and c1+ (advanced level), and in addition to these, five workbooks were prepared at each level to reinforce what was learned. Our book set employs a blended approach, incorporating communication-based methods alongside intercultural approaches, action-oriented methodologies, constructivist perspectives, the direct method, the audio-lingual method, and other approaches and methods. Furthermore, teaching principles were also carefully observed. Another feature of our "journey to turkish" book set is that it is thematic. Accordingly, each book contains eight units in the form of chapters, and each unit contains two topics. The c1 book was prepared as ten units, different from the other four books, to include c2 achievements.

language teaching is not grammar teaching, of course. However, grammar instruction is an important tool and guide in language teaching and learning. Therefore, grammar instruction has been included in every unit and section of our book set. Instead of directly providing memorized information in language teaching, an instruction was built based on example texts and sentences. The principle of spiral curriculum was adhered to in the presentation of grammar topics, the topics were arranged in order from simple to complex, from easy to difficult.

the basic information unit is included in the introduction section of our a1 book. This unit comprehensively covers a wide range of topics you'll need, including the turkish alphabet, colors, seasons, months, days, weather, common idioms used in everyday life, and basic time expressions.

after completing four units in each book, there is a “self-assessment” section.

this section consists of 20 multiple-choice questions, with five questions for each unit.
