Product description

Reviewers refer to antoine de saint-exupery (1900-1944), a french writer and pilot, among writers who give a privileged place to action in their lives and nourish their works with their lives. "the main theme that saint-exupéry, known for the little prince, frequently repeats in ""the castle"" and other works is that every person carries something ""more valuable"" and ""greater"" than themselves." Every real person also turns to the one who is also “in” and “other” to himself, makes his existence to him, lives to serve him. There is no doubt that this is a difficult idea to adopt for today's people who are selfish and look at everything from an individualistic perspective, but saint-exupéry is not willing to compromise on this point: “civilization depends on what is demanded from people, not on what is provided to them. . . This book, consisting of 57 short essay texts, which the author died before completing, was first published in 1948. We are left awestruck by the linguistic perfection and ideological depth of many parts of the castle, which we present with the masterful translation of tahsin yücel. We can't hold back our tears every time we read some stories.
