Product description

As a thematic anthology that contains all the varieties of love and passion, the aşkoloji is the most comprehensive example of its kind.

Starting from the early periods of mankind, this work, which includes the poems of love and passion of important poets of every country in the world, is detailed in before ad (sumer, akad, hind, japanese, chinese, persian, babylon, egypt, native american, mongolian, turkish, australian and various african tribes, etc.). By including hundreds of love poems, it reveals what path his son has followed in terms of love in his historical adventure. These poems are not only important as love poems, but also as they reflect the relations between men and women, behavior patterns, and the views of genders towards each other before history.

As is known, translation studies that began with tanzimat chose the western world as the center of attention, and for this purpose, many translations were made from english, german, american, bulgarian, italian, swedish, polish, norwegian, greek, yugoslav, and hungarian poems, especially french poetry. On the contrary, the turkish reader was not very aware of şark.

The philology has been dedicated to the task of filling this gap, as it were, while preparing for publication. For this purpose, it has included poetry examples from countries such as iran, iraq, syria, russia, azerbaijan, egypt, algeria, sudan, morocco, malaysia, arabia, china, india, japan, korea, palestine, pakistan.

especially the pre- and post-islamic arabic poetry has been desired to be met with the turkish reader. Therefore, the poems of the emevi and abbasi periods hold a significant place in aşkoloji. Just like the pages devoted by aşkoloji to the love poetry of the classical period (divan period) are not likely to escape attention. In the work, the ditty poets who have met the reader to date have been doubled numerically, and as many examples as possible have been given to the love poems of more than 200 poets. The aşkoloji, which includes poets from the tanzimat, the constitutional period, the republic era, and post-75 periods respectively, has tried not to neglect any poet, and has brought together the most successful poems of the poets.

while making selections from turkish and world literature, he did not neglect the famous poems of famous poets.

For example, annabel lee from poe, balcon from baudelaire, rondel from mallarme, green from verlaine, the highest tower from rimbaud, love of the wallman from sandburg, restorada from blaice, lili from mayakovski, happy love from aragon, barbara from prevert, alla'sen what is love's original lining from auden, tensoz from ritsos, lake from lamartin, narkissos from ovidius are included, while thousands of other poems have also been given the opportunity to meet the reader.
