To use the Evra patch, start by selecting a clean, dry area on your skin such as the abdomen, buttocks, back, or upper outer arm, and apply the patch by removing its backing and pressing it firmly into place.
Wear the patch for one week, then replace it with a new patch in a different location.
Continue this routine for three weeks, and during the fourth week, go patch-free to allow for a withdrawal bleed.
After the patch-free week, apply a new patch on the same day of the week as your previous cycle began.
Ensure the patch is securely adhered and avoid touching the adhesive.
If the patch falls off or becomes loose, reapply it or use a new one, and consult a healthcare provider if it has been off for more than 24 hours or if you have any concerns.
