Product description

“sade wants us to lean towards the fundamental problem that revolves under various appearances in our day: human relations with humans…” - simone de beauvoir philosophy in the bedroom is a work that has been discussed, examined, and banned from time to time since the day it was written. The name father of sadism, marquis de sade, in this provocative work, exceeds the moral limits accepted in society, attacks the norms and begins with the following first sentence: “lovers of sensuality of all ages and genders, i offer this work just for you. "the book, which describes the events of the two days spent with the fifteen-year-old eugenie, whom madam de saint-ange invited to her house to give ""sexual"" education, in the form of dialogues, forces readers to think about many issues, from metaphysics to aesthetics, from philosophy to history." While sade both brings down the politics of the period and criticizes contemporary philosophers, it continues to surprise, affect, and entertain readers even after more than 200 years since its writing.
