İthaki Yayınları The Story of Kullervo

Product description

Kullervo, the son of kalervo, is perhaps the darkest and most tragic character among the dozens created by tolkien. "as the saying goes by tolkien, ""the unfortunate kullervo"" is an unfortunate orphan with supernatural powers and a sad fate." Kullervo, who grew up with untamo, the dark magician who killed his father, ran away from his mother, and vowed three times to his life when he was a younger child, has nothing but his love for wanona, his twin sister, and the magical black dog musti that accompanies him.

having vowed to be reviled by the sorcerer after being sold as a slave, kullervo will learn that there is no escape from the most cruel disaster even at the time of revenge. "the story of kullervo is the fundamental step tolkien took from adaptation to creativity on the path that resulted in ""the silmarillion""." "tolkien stated that ""the foundation of the legends of the first age"" was the point of departure in his attempt to write his own legends for the story of kullervo, and he drew attention to the fact that this text was the ancestor of túrin turambar, the protagonist of the children of húrin." In addition to being an impressive story, this book also includes manuscripts, notes, essays, and additional texts written by tolkien related to the kalevala epic, which is the birthplace of the worlds he created.
