İthaki Yayınları Son Saatler

Product description

With its protagonists spanning a wide spectrum – from the innocent to the guilty, the victim to the bureaucrat, the artist to the ordinary individual – *son saatler* (last hours) paints poignant pictures of everyday life with an exceptionally stripped-down style, reflecting both the mirror of the world's reality and the realm of the surreal. When reading, each story is witnessing the “last hours” of someone or something, the stories make you think about the concepts of “being” with their individual and psychological aspects and “non-existence” with their social and sociological aspects. After burak evren's book "the girl of his dreams," which was worthy of the yaşar nabi nayır story award in 2008, "the final hours," a collection of his new stories, is a literary parade where reality and dreams walk side by side. “i don't speak to anyone. I am not here. I'm behind glass now, set outside the house, in the middle of night, looking in. I had already started the journey outside, i could only stop at home for a few hours, and in the end i found myself outside again. I won't be able to go in, i'm disabled, i don't belong here anymore.
