Product description

Hunter s. thompson, one of the most debated figures of american journalism and literature in the 20th century, is not only the founder of the "gonzo journalism" movement, a major current of his time, but also a significant subculture and political figure. The thompson's 1959, when he was only twenty-two, started writing but published in 1998, the roman diaries, which shows how he followed as a conqueror writer, opens the doors to his unique bizarre world, a kind of key novel. The journalist paul kemp leaves new york and comes to puerto rico to start working at the daily news. Kemp, who spends his time in the places of journalists who can hardly hold on to life, drinks a lot of glasses, often gets into trouble and gets thrown from one place to another, finds himself in a small but unkind world where almost everything is considered permissible. Just like the one in fear and hate in las vegas, the roman diaries, which has a film adaptation starring johnny depp, is a loaded american classic. “plenty of alcohol to float a yacht and enough fear and hatred to sink it. –new york daily news "a book that gently unveils its emotional depth, meticulously crafted and lovingly executed."
