Le guin “naomi mitchison was a writer of imagination, progressive and amazing. “-amal el-mohtar “those who are confident and cool can never be great explorers. Naomi mitchison, who has signed controversial works on topics such as gender, abortion, contraception, and free love, dedicating her entire life to activism, is also a brave writer who has written one of the important works of feminist science fiction literature. The memories of a female astronaut is a surprising novel by mitchison, where she calmly explains her progressive ideas for her time, questioning traditional motherhood. Humanity has travelled to the stars and learned that it is not alone. People who have encountered different types of alien life during their journeys to different planets have focused their attention on communicating with these creatures. Mary, a communicator and explorer, is filled with immense passion and compassion for the forms of life she encounters during her travels to distant galaxies. But the first rule in space exploration is not to interfere. Nevertheless, emotional chaos accompanies mary's travels. Over time, she will discover her own femininity while finding her place in life. Is it possible to communicate and understand with living creatures that have a very different biology than humans? And could there be an equal relationship between people and animals? Memories of a female astronaut is a reminder that challenges traditional value judgments. With the presentation of hilary rubinstein
