İthaki Yayınları Function, Concept, Sense

Product description

Gottlob frege, the founder of modern mathematical logic, is considered the greatest logician of all time after aristotle. His works did not gain much fame in his own period, but his ideas were spread through the influence of those who were more influenced by him. After one revolutionary work after another, frege discovered the fundamental ideas that made the development of modern logic possible on his own, and he virtually established the entire discipline by himself. The ideas of frege, who deeply influenced areas such as mathematical philosophy, mathematical logic, and philosophy of language, have also influenced names like ludwig wittgenstein and edmund husserl. This work consists of articles that contain frege's most influential theories in philosophical discussions of our day, which can easily be understood by readers who are not very familiar with mathematics-related issues.
