Product description

"it was impossible to see the course of this treasure flock in anatolia, which was essentially covered with the walls of the vast mountains for businessmen, the fluctuation of this hunger, the misery, the animal that walked on the wheels and swelled its body by swallowing several plains every day." From the first social realistic novels of our literature, çıkrıklar durunca is a portrait of an uprising that intertwines and develops in anatolian villages, where industrialization has had different effects. The author sadri ertem, who is well-versed in anatolia, presents the lives of the villagers on the edge of hunger, their utopian rebellions, and the production conditions, which are the focus of the entire struggle, in a precise description. The residents of adaköy, who have been left destitute under scarcity and heavy taxes, wake up one morning with one of them claiming to be a prophet. Their lives, where hunger and oppression are commonplace, have made them tough enough to accept any claim. They set out to build a paradise of their own around the tomb, which they believe is the place where ali's office is located. However, on the way to heaven, there are some obstacles waiting for them. Südikzade, from the master class, who insists on taking everything from the villagers, is determined to show this rebellion as a religious quarrel. Sadri ertem's first novel, one of the pioneers of social realism, wheels stop, is a narrative of the final struggle of anatolia's great rulers, the collapse of a social system.
