İthaki Yayınları Between Us Fikret

Product description

"a book that opens with the cry of ""you must live!"" and closes with the exclamation ""living is so beautiful!"" is fikret among us." In the words of the author: despite everything. In this ten story, every element exists with its opposite, which are the rings of a chain of losses. With all the good and bad of intention, with the good and the bad of the human being. But most life is with death. The stories of yurtçu exist with meanings attached to objects, from a black umbrella to a stick named after its name. "deceive yourself," says the author

" You don't have to get used to changing paving stones, closing shops, new neighbors, life-and-death situations

Let alone your mirror is also left broken

One is definitely diminished. Fikret between us is looking for a door to the streets of kadıköy. There, “to prove his existence,” he waits for his readers.“i take the wind of the cliff behind me and turn to the sea, the sun falls on my face, i feel warm. I dip my feet in the water and an octopus pulls me to the bottom with all its arms, i'm drowning. I always wake up from my dreams with a nightmare. I have a notebook, i write down things every day so i don't forget. If one day i give in to old age, i write this so that my half-forgotten memory will not let me down. I write not to be remembered after death, but to prove to myself my own existence.
