Is the akp's “new turkey” just a hollow propaganda term, or does it point to an event, a reality? Fatih yaşlı accepts the new turkey as a reality and phenomenon in this study, and he puts this reality and phenomenon under the lens, moving from his fundamental thesis that a new regime is being established in turkey with the akp's hand.

The old, “what makes the new turkey new? "in this study, which started with the question ""how"", on the one hand, it reveals the differences between the ""old"" and ""new"" turkey in a comparative way, on the other hand, it demonstrates how the foundations of the new turkey were laid before the akp power." In the study, the change in the regime is related to the struggle for global dominance and described as “turkey’s colorful revolution” with the akp’s rise to power, and the process of the said “revolution” is discussed in theoretical and practical terms.

another thesis accompanying the new regime construction thesis is that a new “nation” is being entered into with the akp hand. "the old man refers to this ""inter-faith and nation"" new collective identity, which the akp calls ""nation"", as ""sunni-nation"" and explains in detail what the sunna-nation refers to and how it was established."

the work also deals with the june rebellion and it is explained that the rebellion was an appeal to the new turkey by those left out/excluded outside the sunni-ulus. "the old, new turkey's two power centers, akp and the cemaat, also look at the past and present of their relationship and reveal the origins, reasons, and course of this fight, which he said was ""the ownership of the new turkey"", in a striking way." Akp, cemaat, sunni-ulus, an original and impressive work that does not neglect the historicality while analyzing the theory and current in detail, an introduction to new turkey, a starter book.
