" -vladimir nabokov, the first psychological and the first great novel of russian literature, a hero of our time is a masterpiece of our time. The work, which lost his life in a duel at the age of twenty-seven and was one of the leading poets of his time, also influenced such masters as dostoevsky and tolstoy, tells not only about one of the largest ancient heroes of russia, but also about the adventures of the officer peçorin, one of the most important byronic heroes in the history of literature. "a hero of our time, my merciful gentlemen, is certainly a portrait of me, but not a portrait of a single person: it is a portrait made out of the flaws of our entire generation at the peak of our development. Now you're going to tell me again that a person can't be this bad

and i will tell you that you believe that all tragic and romantic beings can exist, but you don't believe that pecorin is real? Much scarier? And you admired the ones that came out of someone's mind, but why doesn't this character that came out of someone's mind earn your mercy? Or is it because the wave is more real than you desire?
