İskele Yayıncılık Cimri

Product description

"moliere's most famous play, ""l'avare"" (transliterated as cimri in turkish), was first performed in 1668."

the work was written in a prose reminiscent of poetry. This play, which uses all the patterns of traditional comedy by transforming, was not well received at first because it presented the hero's conflict in a very harsh and naked style.

the money passion of the miser reached the point of cruelty in some scenes of the game, a pathological loneliness, even clearly madness. Although goethe later suggested that cimri was not a comedy but a tragedy, this interpretation can be considered exaggerated.

because the basic conflict characteristic of comedy, the contrast between inhuman purposes and human instincts, is also revealed here

but moliere makes the audience feel absurdity and calmness, not a cheerful laughable.
