A journey of knowledge stretching to rey, baghdad, basra, kufa, damascus and egypt... a life shaped around the circles of knowledge... this novel, focusing on abu ja'far al-tabari, one of the greatest exegetes and historians of islamic civilization, not only tells the story of a scholar's life, but also how an entire scholarly tradition was built. While it vividly portrays the longing of a student for his teacher, the loneliness of being away from home, the excitement of scholarly gatherings, and the passion for understanding the quran, it also illustrates how knowledge is preserved and passed down through sacrifice, patience, and devotion. Can the spark of knowledge that falls into a child's heart become part of a nation's memory? In this book, you will witness the transformation of ebu cafer, who was prophesied by his father's dream, into a great scholar who shaped centuries with his interpretation and history, turning that sign into reality over the years.
