İnkılap Kitabevi Zincire Vurulmuş Prometheus</DNTCTMS> - Livaneli Bookstore

Product description

The inscription on the back cover, "prometheus bound," is one of the rare works that have survived to the present day from aiskhylos, one of the most famous tragedians of the ancient age. The first play in a tragedy trilogy, the book deals with prometheus, the first god of civilization according to greek mythology, who upset the order and dedicated his entire life to the benefit of people, and the pain he suffered from the wrath of the olympian gods. With its impactful, poignant, and rebellious dialogue, the book is strikingly reminiscent of today's current order, prompting the reader to question it.

In this selection, the influential story of prometheus, the god who was chained to a mountain full of steep cliffs and stripped of his immortality for creating man from clay and teaching his descendants civilization, meets readers with the preface of zülfü livaneli, our precious pen of literature.
