summary: Kemal sunal's master's thesis, "kemal sunal's comedy in tv and cinema," is not just a book about an artist's own adventures. An academic study examining turkey's social change, the transformation of green pine, and the illuminating power of gül's Leather nlemes.

Sunal, in this thesis, traces the historical development of his comedies, which he has dedicated to cinema for twenty-five years, to the socio-economic transformation of turkish society from the 1970s to the 1990s.It meticulously covers a wide range, from the conditions under which their own films were produced to the comedy sensibilities that shaped them during the television era.

Examining the films of the artist through the lens of critics, academics, journalists, and fellow artists, offers a multifaceted perspective on the social function of laughter. In this respect, the book holds a comprehensive resource quality not only for kemal sunal cinema, but also for the place of gülümmüş in the social memory in turkey.
