summary: Tat is one of roald dahl's most brilliant stories. It was first published in ladies' home journal in march 1945, and later in the new yorker in 1951.

Six people sit at the table in the london home of stockbroker mike schofield: mike, his wife, his daughter, the narrator (whose name we don't know) and the narrator's wife, plus the renowned gourmet richard pratt.Pratt had previously wagered with schofield over dinner wine, but tonight's stake is even bigger.Schofield, while serving the second wine of the meal, tells pratt that he could never guess which vineyard's wine it was, and thus begins the story of one of the most peculiar claims in literary history.

Iban barrenetxea, who accompanies the story with his brush, turns the narrated into a visual feast and invites us to this mysterious party.
