İmge Kitabevi Yayınları After the Rain

Product description

The legend of the world turning into a small village always reminds me of the bakery that i admired for its pastries and cookies on the coast of baby, and the bakery has been replaced by an american hamburger joint.

It gives me chills to think that in the near future, people all around the world will be wearing the same brand of jeans, eating the same hamburgers, drinking the same coke, children will grow up with the same cartoons and the same toys, and we will be living as if we have no idea of the news that our same company wants us to watch and not see.

if people in this “little village” are going to live hearing cnn, dancing with mtv, eating hamburgers with just easy and crying with lion king, loving the panda born in new york zoo, i don’t want to be the village of that village.

i want to take back my pastry chef in the baby and leave the “global village” by playing freedom tunes with my cava.
