Home Vertical curtain carrier - dpy0006

Product description

"the end of the wagon ""donkey"" is the point where the ropes that open and close the vertical curtain come together and are tied." A cubic plastic piece on the donkey is fixed with a screw to secure the rope. your definition of the term "wagon end donkey" in the vertical curtain mechanism is quite accurate and explains exactly what it means in industry jargon.

this part is one of the most critical control points of the vertical blind, although it is not usually mentioned by this name in technical catalogs. Rope connection point: it is the last point where the pull ropes that enable the curtain to open and close (right/left movement) are connected and fixed to the mechanism.

this piece may loosen or even snap off over time due to the immense pulling and securing force exerted on it, completely ceasing the curtain's opening/closing function.

looseness of the track will result in wasted curtain drawstrings or uncontrolled sliding of the wagons within the rail.

in a nutshell, the “wagon end donkey” is the final lock of the mechanical movement of the curtain. If there's an issue with your curtain's opening and closing mechanism, the first place to check is usually the cord securing and finishing point.
