Home Fabric Vertical Blind 127 mm Skirt Weight

Product description

The 127 mm hem weight (or bottom weight) used in vertical blinds is a crucial component for ensuring the blind looks neat and aesthetically pleasing.

the main function of the skirt weights, as its name implies, is to weight the fabric slices (slides) to provide a straight and taut appearance. It prevents the fabric from being blown uncontrollably in light air currents or when the window is opened.

it ensures that all fabric slices are aligned and in harmony with each other. There are slots for the attachment of the connecting chain (spacer chain) under the slices. The structure of vertical curtain hem weights is determined by the width of the fabric section used.

these weights are designed to fit perfectly with the most common 89mm wide vertical blind fabric slats in europe and turkey.

this fits right into the bottom pocket of the slice of the weight. It is mostly made of durable and moisture-resistant hard pvc (plastic) material.

they come in white, black, anthracite or creamy tones. At either end of the weight, there are special slots or holes where the connecting chain (bulk chain) is threaded, linking the weights of adjacent slices together. The skirt weights of each fabric section are connected to each other through the connecting chain passing through the bottom.

this chain fixes the distance between the slides. It makes it easier for all slides to rotate (open and close) at the same time and angle.

it is very easy to change the skirt weights. The broken weight is removed by sliding it out of the fabric pocket and replaced with a new weight of the same dimensions (127 mm). The connection chain is seated in the slots with the help of clips.
