Home Fabric Vertical Blind 127 mm Plastic Distance Spring White (1 Piece) - Dpy0025

Product description

Spacer, or distance spring, is a small plastic component that fits between the vertical blind slats (the small carriages that carry the slats) to maintain a consistent distance between them. It is 127 mm long and suitable for slides 127 mm wide. Whether the curtain is in an open or closed position, all the strips create a smooth, spaced and flowing visual effect side by side.

if it weren't for these distance springs, the strips would move freely and gather together haphazardly. When the curtain is fully opened and gathered to one side (or opened in the middle), thanks to the springs, each wagon rests perfectly against the other.

this ensures the curtain is gathered in the most uniform manner, while taking up minimal space. Even a few broken or dislodged distance springs on a vertical curtain can cause the stripes in that area to look uneven and rub against each other.

this detracts from the drape and prevents the gathering mechanism from working smoothly.

therefore, it is a small but important part that is frequently replaced in the repair of vertical blinds.
