Product description

Product name: venetian blind curtain zigzag wire fixer (brass/metal cord lock) description: the precise mechanism that ensures the tension wire is fixed under the curtain the venetian blind curtain zigzag wire fixer is a small, precise part that is mounted at the end of the cord of the tension wire (zigzag wire) system, which ensures that the blinds used in moving (opening/closing) windows and doors remain fixed (tensioned). The part shown in the image is typically made of durable metal, such as brass, and is used to maintain the tension of the tension wire extending from the bottom of the curtain.

structure and function: body (drum): it is the cylindrical main body made of brass. The tension wire is passed through the gap in the middle of this body. Fixing screw: the small screw (steel/silver in color) located on the side of the body is the primary component that ensures the wire is clamped.

wire locking: after the wire is threaded through the body, the fixing screw is tightened with a screwdriver. This process secures the wire within the body by crimping or applying pressure, preventing it from slipping or loosening. Role in the system (zigzag system): tension adjustment: to prevent the curtain from swaying in the wind or with door movement, a tension cord runs vertically through the curtain and exits from the bottom slat.

this stabilizer is installed at the end of the wire, ensuring that the wire stays in place on the lower lamel without slipping and maintaining the correct tension. Fixed position: the lower ends of the wire are connected to the tension foot (hold down bracket - the metal foot mentioned in your previous description) located beneath the window sill.

this brass stabilizer acts as a lock at the transition point of the wire to the louver, ensuring that the louver of the curtain stays in place.

uses: slanted windows: prevents the curtain from sagging on skylights or slanted glass. Doors: to prevent curtains from swinging, making noise, or getting damaged on balcony doors or frequently opened and closed windows. In essence, a roller blind tensioner is a crucial, yet often overlooked, component that ensures the bottom of your roller blind remains taut and parallel to the window surface. it's used to secure the tensioning (roller) cord, keeping it safely in place and maintaining the set tension.
