Hello, first of all, thank you for choosing us. The product material is steel and does not tarnish or rust. However, for long-lasting use, you need to pay attention to some conditions. The product does not darken unless it comes into contact with chemical substances such as shampoo, detergent, perfume, cologne. Although the product material is steel, the gold and silver color coatings on it are obtained with special chemicals. Therefore, when it comes into contact with chemical substances such as perfume, shampoo, chlorinated water, the properties of the coating may deteriorate and discoloration may occur. Therefore, we recommend that you keep your product away from materials containing chemicals.
