Parasitic signals, such as electromagnetic noise, are much less affected than harmful transmission signals. cat 6 cable can provide higher efficiency up to 250mhz. in addition, in order for data transmission to be at a certain quality level, the other network elements to be installed or in the existing system must also have the cat6 standard.

what is the difference between cat 5 and cat 6? There is no protection against interference outside of cat 5, but cat 6 has a separator that prevents the cables inside from tangling with each other and aluminum foil for protection against interference.

also, cat6s are 23 awg, cat5s are 24 awg.

cat5e cable work 100mhz, cat6 cable work 250mhz. In the awg system, the larger the number, the smaller the cross-section of the cable. for example, 24 awg corresponds to a 0.50 mm cable cross-section. 23 awg means a 0.57 mm cable cross-section.

so 23 awg is thicker than 24 awg. The cable thickness also increases the speed in the same proportion.
