summary:We read this book over and over when we were young.

we made our bedside book.Just as ernesto saboto's tunnel and italo calvino's invisible cities were for us, so were eastern tales.A feast.Even our friends who don't like prose would prostrate themselves in front of this book.Yourcenar, legendary name. This book is a legendary book.

My best friend, who compared the nefî divan to the bulak edition and when he said poetry, he said he opened it and read the old ones, let me not give his name, when he said eastern stories, he was just ecstatic.

of course, the translator's share was large in this case.Hür yumer gifted the turkish language with one of the most beautiful translations we can read and enjoy.

Any reader, for example, when reading the first story “how wang-fo got away”, will truly salute the power of literature.

we usually struggle to explain why beauty is beautiful. I couldn't explain why this book was good either. Now i know: this is the purest example of creativity, of making something new, of poiesis.

it is not the type that can be exceeded for a long time.

good, that's it.

that's it.

dizzying.
