Yes it will hold

In one of the answered questions, it was said that the background used with the intention of a sunshade lifts the curtain, and in the other it was said that it does not. I wonder which one is correct.

Hello, can the background hold the curtain?

Hello, my curtains are long. It wouldn't be nice to cut them since I moved to another house. There is no solution for short ones, but there is a solution for long ones. Do you think it will lift from the bottom up? I am doing research on this subject. I would be happy if you could give me information. Thank you in advance. :)
