Product description

The effort to understand the works of an artist should be aimed at the world of meaning that transcends the eras of his works rather than his mortal aspects. For this, it is important to reach the first and unaltered copies of the remaining works from the artist

it is essential to make different reading forms for the literary work based on these texts. We would like to emphasize that this is the purpose of the emergence of kuyucaklı yusuf, which is in your hands and prepared with the understanding of “critical edition”. Although sabahattin ali's work, kuyucaklı yusuf, was first started to be published in the new anatolia newspaper, it was left unfinished. "then, the novel, which was only reviewed in the projector magazine, was first fully reviewed in the copies of the tan newspaper between november 9, 1936 and january 21, 1937 under the sub-title ""hometown novel""." The novel, which ended in the 67th trial, was published as a book by new bookstore in the same year. The second edition of the work, in the health of the artisan, was made by akba bookshop in 1943. It appears that the publication activities on sabahattin ali's yusuf the well-born in our country are mostly based on the second edition. The manuscript you have in your hand has been prepared for publication from the first edition of the book

punctuation marks and some inconsistencies seen in the spelling of words have been combined with the artist's original usage method to preserve the original structure of the works. In addition to this, the first version of the novel left on newspaper and magazine pages has also been read in a comparative form

it has been marked considering the changes that occurred in the artist's language - thought to carry an indicative value. Thus, the differences between the newspaper and magazine copies on which the novel was typed, with the changes the artist made on the work while preparing the second edition, have been shown with footnotes. "in this edition, also known as ""critical edition"", attention has been drawn to all the changes and transformations that sabahattin ali himself made on ""the well-seeking joseph""."
