Product description

The effort to understand the works of an artist should be aimed at the world of meaning that transcends the times of his works, rather than his mortal aspects. For this, it is important to reach the first and unaltered copies of the remaining works from the artist

it is essential to make different reading forms for the literary work based on these texts. "we would like to emphasize that ""the devil within"" that you have in your hands and prepared with the concept of ""critical edition"" is the purpose of its emergence." Sabahattin ali's work, the devil within us, was first published in ulus newspaper between april 3rd and june 29th, 1939. The novel, which ended in the 87th trial, was published as a book by remzi bookstore a year later. There is no other edition of the work in the health of the artisan. The manuscript you have in your hand has been prepared for publication from the first edition of the book

punctuation marks and some inconsistencies seen in the spelling of words have been combined with the artist's original usage method to preserve the original structure of the works. In addition to this, the first version of the novel left on newspaper pages has also been read in a comparative form

it has been marked considering that the changes in the artist's language -have- carry an indicative value. Thus, the differences between the changes the artist made on the work while preparing the second edition and the newspaper copy on which the novel was typed have been shown with footnotes. "in this edition, also known as ""critical edition"", attention has been drawn to all the changes and transformations that sabahattin ali himself made in ""the devil within us""."
