Halk Kitabevi Babaya Mektup

Product description

Franz kafka wrote this letter to his father, hermann kafka, in november 1919.

kafka's literary heir max brod tells that kafka actually gave the letter to his father to deliver to his mother, hoping that she could renew a relationship that had lost itself in this letter.

but kafka's grinding these deep birds in his affairs didn't save either his father or himself.

he could not help but see the failure of communication between father and son as another moment in the larger existential impasse that is depicted in much of his work.

julie kafka, who understood that her son's move was in vain, did not deliver the letter, but returned it to his author instead.
