Product description

Long live the letter c brotherhood! Long live behiç ak, the letter c brotherhood! A humorous novel about consumption from behiç ak, a 2014 alma nominee, cartoonist, and architect! Crazy for the letter c on facebook! Our country's internationally renowned master of humor, our 2014 astrid lindgren memorial award (alma) nominee behiç ak, is here with a humorous novel that captures the rhythm of the changing lives of children who grew up with “smiling stories” and meets them in a new world of emotions and languages. The novel conveys the story of ali, who mistakenly had a c added to his surname in the population registry, transforming him into a different person with just one letter, in a fun and thought-provoking fiction. The author argues that social networking sites such as facebook differentiate between our oral and written forms of communication

"it tells the story of today's world, where consumption - consuming as quickly as possible - has become the focus of our daily lives, from the perspective of a child who became famous as ""mr. c""." Enriched with deeply engraved colorful characters and patterns of the artist's cartoon taste, which can be found around every reader, the novel invites the child reader, their families and educators to reflect on the life philosophy that changes form in virtual and real environments. When school homework is needed, ali cannot find the birth certificate even though he searches and goes to the office

a new one is requested. Thus, a surprising fact emerges: ali's surname was written incorrectly as “hoşgöru¨ç” in the records, with the letter “ç” added at the end. His father is angry, while ali is very pleased with the letter c. "a single letter will be written by someone completely different, and it has already been recognized as ""mr. c"" on social networking sites and at school." However, in a world where everything is consumed and thrown away, how will ali hoşgörcü resist?
