Günışığı Kitaplığı Do You Know How to Whistle?

Product description

Poems by academician, translator, writer necdet neydim, telling about childhood from the eyes of a child.

The poems of necdet neydim, an academician, translator, and writer known for his research and theoretical studies in the field of children's and youth literature, reflect the anxieties, longings, joys, and rapidly changing lives of today's children, again from their perspective, in a simple and impressive language. The 47 poems in the book, which has been revived as an album with the masterful pictures and original page designs of graphic designer suzan aral, manage to make children love this special type of literature.

necdet neydim says in the introduction of the book: &quot

They say children don't understand poetry and love.

those who say this are definitely those who do not know their children.

they understand both, but not everyone can understand what they understand.

on what basis do i say these? I saw it with my eyes and heard it with my ears.

best you read it and i'll whistle. But if you know how to whistle, keep whistling, let alone poetry.

because whistling is poetry.
