Günışığı Kitaplığı Çıtır Çıtır Felsefe 27 - Being and Possessing

Product description

"brigitte labbé, the creator of the ""çitir çitir philosophy"" series, which has readers from every corner of the world, makes you think about the topics of ""being"" and ""having"" something in this book." The author, explaining that these concepts are intertwined, expresses that when we make a choice to have something, we also choose to be something. "the book emphasizes that one cannot always be brave, cowardly, generous, polite, or angry, that one can turn in the direction of consciousness and preferences, and reminds a child that saying ""lazy"" and ""don't be lazy"" are different things." The individual who is stereotyped with a certain label is depicted as having internalized this situation, whereas a person always has the potential to change, with striking examples from everyday life filled with humor. The book, which reflects on individuals who have everything and those who have nothing but their life and body, opens up for discussion an important issue that disturbs the mind of every reader.

who can choose one character characteristic throughout his whole life? We can think of ourselves as dreamers or attentive, nervous or organized today.

what about next year? Or 30 years later? No human is always brave, coward, honest, generous, polite, bad, arrogant, or calm, just like a pen is always blue or a chair is always wooden.
