Product description

I am honored to present to you the world of our book “Our Love Eskipazar Poems and Our Regions,” which I believe will serve as a bridge to the world opened from the climate of gratitude and contentment of our ancestors to the present day. More than anything, I take pride in presenting to you a collection that belongs to our valuable younger generation, including the names, villages, neighborhoods, and all the geographical inventory relevant to these lands.

I have considered this work a debt to myself for years.

WE STILL HAVE UNWRITTEN THINGS We have written about their mountains We have written about their stones We have written about their summers We have written about their winters We have written about their vineyards We have written about their meals What more do we have left to write?

We took a break in every village

We visited each neighborhood

We took pride in your saints

My Eskipazar, what has been forgotten?

We listened to our elderly grandparents

We learned the traditions of our region

We enjoyed their drawings and observations

My Eskipazar, what haven’t we tasted?

We delighted in wandering their highlands

We loved the hyacinths and the poppies

We played our childhood games

My Eskipazar, what more do we have left?

We traced through those high mountains

We harvested in the vineyards of the plains

We were filled with every treat you offered

My Eskipazar, what more is left?
