The fump will allow you to get instant staccato sounds by simply attaching it to the area where the strings touch the bridge on 4 or 5 string basses.

now you don't have to use the palm of your right hand to get that sound! Fump is a progressive product that emerged as a result of intense demand from bass guitarists after the tremendous success of fretwraps. If you've ever tried to get staccato or double bass-like sounds by putting sponge-like sound-absorbing materials under the strings before, you should definitely try fump! Of course, muting the strings with the palm of the hand to get that specific sound is a technique that every bassist should learn and master.

but with fump, you can free your hand and be more creative in your musical ! A few notes on fump: when considering the string's radius of curvature, it will perform best in setups with minimal to no curvature! It's a seconds to put on and take off process! You can attach it to your guitar strap or music stand when not in use. it won't leave any marks on surfaces it touches because it has no moving parts. it can be attached from the top or bottom. it only needs to be 2.5 cm away from the pickup and bridge. it's also designed to accommodate different types of mute attachments.
