The Lucky Bamboo gets its name because the Chinese give it out or use it to bring luck when establishing a business, purchasing a new home, etc.

Strong but muted lighting works well with it.

This is the ideal houseplant since it can thrive in both light and shade, and it can withstand temperatures between 15 and 32ºC.

Fortunately, Bamboo doesn't have a humidity requirement.

Similar to other indoor plants, it can be cultivated in a pot.

It won't require many chances.

Since it's truly an agavácea, it needs roughly the same maintenance as a yucca.

Once a month, add a few drops of liquid fertilizer to the water.

For fortunate bamboo, mealybugs and fungus-induced leaf spots are the most common issues.

Fungicide is used to eradicate the fungus, whereas alcohol is used to remove the former.

These plants can be planted in soil or, alternatively, in a vase-shaped container filled with water just up to the roots.

In the summer, replace the water once a week with fresh water

in the winter, less frequently.

It can survive for a longer or shorter period of time in water, depending on the circumstances, but it grows more steadily and robustly on land.
