Select the appropriate grating surface based on the ingredient and the recipe you’re preparing. Grip the handle firmly and grate the food with controlled movements. As the food gets smaller, keep your fingers away from the sharp surface. Do not force small pieces through the grater. After use, wash off any food residue before it dries. Use a brush to clean the sharp surfaces; do not scrub them with your hands. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool. After rinsing, dry it completely and store it folded. Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions for dishwasher use. Store it out of the reach of children.
