EYM Penkid Steel Rope Pvc Window Safety Child Security Lock White

Hello, thank you for your interest in our product. Our steel cable lock model you are reviewing is designed for PVC (Pimapen), Wood, and Wide Profile Aluminum window/door systems. Screws need to be placed on the profile for assembly. This lock model is not suitable for folding glass balcony systems because the frame/profile area is narrow or consists only of glass. For securing glass balcony panels, you should opt for the special "Glass Balcony Child Safety Locks" available in our store/on the market, which are designed to fit over the top or bottom profile of the glass. For your standard PVC windows and doors, you can use this product with high security and durability. We'd be happy to help with any other questions you may have. Best regards, Eymen Yapı Market

Hello, This product is designed to be mounted by screwing for PVC windows and doors. If you want to mount it on the refrigerator door, you need to pay attention to the following: The product needs to be screwed for full security. Screwing into the refrigerator door and side body will create permanent screw holes in your refrigerator. If you prefer to attach it with strong double-sided tapes instead of screws, it provides adhesion on the refrigerator surface, but it may not be as resistant as screw mounting against strong pulls from children. For complete safety and to avoid damaging the refrigerator, we generally recommend using adhesive child safety / refrigerator locks. If you agree to screw it in, it will physically fit dimensionally. If you have any other question, we will be happy to help. Best regards, Eymen Yapı Market

The standard length of the rope is 20 cm.

Hello, it opens with a key.

Yes, you can adjust it while assembling.

Hello, the product is for child safety. There may be problems with external forcing.

Hello, thank you for your interest in our product. The steel cable lock model you are reviewing is originally designed for use with screw mounting for PVC window and door security. However, it is also suitable for use on dressers, drawers or wooden furniture by screwing (fixing with self-tapping screws). If you screw it onto a wooden surface, it definitely prevents children from opening the drawers and keeps it quite sturdy. Since the product requires screw mounting, there will be small screw holes on the surface of your furniture. If you are looking for adhesive/nail-free furniture locks, this product is a screw-in model. If you have a different question, we would be happy to help. Best regards, Eymen Yapı Market

Hello, Yes, you can safely use the Penkid steel rope safety lock on windows that open outwards. During assembly, the body part is screwed onto the case, and the locked holder part is screwed onto the wing that opens outward. Because steel cable is flexible, it holds the sash within a safe distance (approximately 10-15 cm) when the window is opened outwards, preventing it from fully opening. When installing, the angle and distance should be chosen and screwed in a way that the rope will not get stuck in the case when the windowed wing is closed, and it can be folded comfortably. If you have any other question, we will be happy to help. Best regards, Eymen Yapı Market

Yes, it can be attached but not to every door screen and alone, it does not provide full child safety. Only Suitable For Cat / Safety Flycatcher With Aluminum Case. Since both ends are screwed, the profile of the fly screen you will mount the Penkid on must consist of a solid aluminum frame. It cannot be used in thin, snap-on or pleated (pleated) accordion flaps because it will not hold screws. Even though the Penkid lock securely connects the enclosure and the screen frame, the standard mesh (fiberglass) can tear or detach from the frame under the weight of a child or pet. Therefore, if there is no steel or pet-screen (cat tulle) in the fly screen, it does not provide real safety. Because the space between the door screen and the PVC door is small, the lock body needs to be installed at a point that will not interfere with the opening and closing of the door. Handles specially produced for door fly screens, which can be locked from the inside, offer a more aesthetic use.
