Epsilon Yayınevi Philosophy Journey with Great Thinkers + Sticky Note Paper

Product description

First day of school. Sven and bram, like their fellow students, were sure they would be bored in the first philosophy class, until they met their new philosophy teacher, mr. swart.

for this unusual teacher, a philosophy textbook doesn't mean much. Exams or long and boring assignments also have no place in class.

his main priority was to make his students think and introduce them to a few philosophers.

sitting in a classroom is not always good for him either.

students can sometimes find themselves in the school basement learning plato’s cave allegory, and sometimes walking around the park defending aristotle’s influence on the thought of motion. In this book by janny van der molen, we watch a philosophy teacher who asks the right questions at the right time, and his students' interest in philosophy increases over time, how philosophy begins to take a place in their daily lives.

accompanied by many philosophers, from plato to aristotle, nietzsche to marx, augustine to locke, and from arendt to kristeva, readers will eagerly join this philosophical adventure, just like students of mr. swart.
