Product description

What does psychomitology make you tired of and how? What is psychoanalysis, how does it work? What is the tragedy, what do they seek? Sophokles's tragedies centered on oedipus are exemplary texts to be consulted in order to respond to these questions. "sigmund freud's conceptualization of ""the oedipus complex"" has made oedipus one of the central images of interpretations of the modern individual's psychology, and with contributions from various disciplines, the figure of oedipus has transformed into a multidimensional image and symbol." Oedipus - psychology: social-cultural interpretations consist of texts that examine the social-cultural reflections of oedipus from the central images of studies on the process of the modern individual's psychosocial development. This second volume of the two-volume work prepared by mehmet bilgin saydam, along with the first volume where psychoanalytic and clinical interpretations are dominant, serves as a valuable reference source for the conceptualization of oedipus.
