Product description

Henry david thoreau, a nature traveler, nature writer, natural scientist, and naturalist, is one of the most important intellectuals of 19th century america.

"living in the so-called ""most captivating era"" under the historical conditions of the pre-american civil war and a period of rapid industrialization, he saw nature as an unerring reference for individual and social principles, and sought ways to reveal a life based on and strong through the human in nature." For thoreau, human positioning in the world requires a healthy body to establish a close connection with nature through sensation, action, knowledge, and instinct, and to apply this to derive an acquiescent consciousness. The style of thought and action places thoreau at the heart of transcendentalism. According to harold bloom, thoreau is “one of the principal figures of emerson’s chief works. According to emerson, the "anti-student" is "the exact opposite of his ethics, with his flesh and blood and his upright saxon faith," and "there has never been a more authentic american than thoreau. The first book published after the author's death, "travels," consists of nature and hiking essays that extend from the closed cycle of culture, as well as a portrait of thoreau that emerson took to the pen. "travels, first translated into turkish as a notated full text, is an indispensable work for readers interested in both the ""american renaissance"" and the history and ecology of nature, and also a bedside book for nature walkers."
