summary:I learned a lot from my mother, but neither she nor i realized it.For example, i learned a fundamental thing for my job: the difference between fiction and reality, and how reality needs fiction to be complemented to make life easier.

”It's not an autobiography

but a book written while he was on the run.In son rüya, pedro almodóvar unleashes the ghosts, hallucinations, and story fragments that nourish his cinema, this time to surprise the reader.Spanning from the late 1960s to the present, these twelve texts create a narrative labyrinth, moving between memoir and fiction, confession and parody, and gothic and comedy.

Just like in the movies, where emotion carries the weight and desire drives the narrative, this world faces the loss of a mother.A regretful vamp goes on the scene

An unexpected love sprouts between mesih and the thief barabbas.“the sleeping beauty” is being rewritten in a completely untraditional way.Miguel's life, who can be considered the precursor of benjamin button, flows in reverse.

Some stories are like never-before-seen almodóvar films

others are too raw, too vulnerable, and too wild for the camera to capture.

Last dream is a fragmented inner world record where confession intertwines with melodrama, and memory merges with desire: not a diary of a life, but a diary of the imagination.
